| A
clinical study conducted by Dr. Lawrence A. Lavery, DPM, MPH, during his
term as an associate professor in the department of orthopedic surgery
and rehabilitation at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois,
evaluated subjects with a history of diabetes and vascular impairment.
According to Dr. Lavery, the findings of this study were "compelling
and significant".
The Testing Demonstrated:
- 8 - 12% increase in blood oxygen levels were recorded
in subjects wearing the Holofiber products.
- Statistically significant increase in transcutaneous
oxygen — or the oxygen delivery to the skin — in hands
and feet, on subjects wearing Holofiber gloves and socks, compared
to those wearing comparable non-Holofiber gloves and socks.
- Early results indicate findings that are likely to have
a significant impact on the medical, consumer performancewear,
and
active sportswear markets.
Wellman,
Inc. and Holofiber Enterprises, Inc. formed a joint venture company, Hologenix
LLC, to manufacture and market Holofiber products. Wellman, a leading
