Schotex Global® Co. Ltd. Enters High-Performance Textiles Marketplace (10/20/25)

Schotex Global® Co. Ltd. announces the launch of its new collection of sustainable, high-performance textiles and advanced fabric technologies for the global market. Merging Swiss heritage and precision with the efficiency of Asian manufacturing, the new Schotex collection exemplifies innovation, craftsmanship, and responsible design. The Schotex team of expert designers and product developers based in Switzerland works seamlessly with its Bluesign®-approved mill and Hong Kong headquarters. This integrated approach ensures the highest standards of sustainability – from responsible yarn sourcing to finished yardage – while delivering uncompromising performance across outdoor, sportswear, fashion, and industrial applications. Schotex Co-Founder and CEO Gwen Hsu started the new brand after spending more than 20 years at Schoeller, where she served as General Manager of Schoeller Textil AG Far East Limited. Schotex Chief Design Officer Romaine Schoenenberger spent more than two decades at Schoeller Textil AG, leading product development and design across a wide range of fabric collections. The Schotex Global sales team includes Head of European Sales Thomas Leeman, who is based in Switzerland and led the sales program at Schoeller Technologies for more than a decade; and Sara Gillers, the Denver-based head of U.S. sales, who has represented Carve Designs, Western Aloha, and Purnell Workwear in the outdoor industry space. “We developed Schotex Global to perform as an agile development partner for our customers, delivering the highest standards in both products and customer service,” said Hsu. “Our focus is on merging cutting-edge technology with sustainable practices to create next-generation materials that combine uncompromising performance with environmental responsibility.
