RECENT NEWS RELEASESGTI Expands Highly Popular MiniMatcher 7/11/19Newburgh, NY, July 11, 2019: GTI Graphic Technology, Inc., the leading manufacturer of lighting systems for critical color matching, inspection, and aesthetic appraisal has announced the new MM-2436e color matching system. The MM-2436e has a viewing area of 22.75” high x 36” wide x 23” deep (58 cm x 91 cm x 58 cm). It includes five standard light sources: daylight (D65, D75, or D50), store light (Cool White Fluorescent or TL84), home light (Incandescent A), Ultraviolet, and an optional source (D50, D75, Horizon, LED, TL84, or TL83). The viewer also includes a daylight timer and an illuminated push button control that confirms which source is selected. GTI’s ColorGuard II lamp tracking is available as an option. ColorGuard is a monitoring system that tracks usage for each light source and notifies you when it is time to relamp. To assist with metamerism testing, the MM-2436e provides one touch automatic light source sequencing. This feature allows the user to program a set of light sources that will automatically sequence for a fixed period of time. For highly critical applications, an optional prismatic diffusion lens is offered. "This is about so much more than a new R&D facility; it's about our company's investment in young minds who will be introduced to chemistry at the Discovery Hub, our continued investment in Delaware, and our investment in an innovation pipeline that will empower our customers and change the world for the better," said Mark Vergnano, president and chief executive officer of Chemours. "The Chemours Discovery Hub is a living symbol of the company we are becoming – open, collaborative, imaginative, and focused on the future. We are thrilled to see what innovations our team will dream up in this building, all within the creative environment of a public university." Robert McCurdy, President of GTI Graphic Technology, Inc. states, “Our OEM partners and end-users in the industrial color markets have been asking us for an affordable 36” wide multi-source viewing booth. We are delighted to be able to meet their requirement with the MiniMatcher-2436e.” McCurdy adds, “GTI prides itself on listening to our customers and offering a range of solutions to meet their requirements. We look forward to offering this new product, which nicely complements our full range of ASTM D1729 and ISO 3664:2009 compliant viewing systems.” Like all GTI products, the new MM-2436e will be manufactured at the company’s headquarters in Newburgh, NY. Having the design, engineering, manufacturing, and sales team working together in one facility helps GTI to bring high quality products to the market at a reasonable price while offering the best in class support. It also offers great flexibility when manufacturing a product. For example, if a customer requires the MM-2436 size but only three or four light sources GTI can offer that product at a lower price. The complete GTI MiniMatcher® series now consists of six model sizes with viewing areas ranging from 13”H x 18” W x 10” D to 22.75”H x 60” W x 23” D.
